It’s impossible. However, that does not diminish what’s being shared…
We want to open the door to tell the stories that often get buried by noise and encourage the unification of humanity rather than division and disunity.
We believe #curiosityoverjudgment is the key to this unification and restoration.
Through short-form documentary films, we hope to evoke a sense of curiosity about the world and the people who make it great. We want to give a voice to those who are making a positive impact in society and share goodness in the process.
So then… what is Indistinct Chatter?
Indistinct Chatter is a film industry term that describes noise in a crowded space. When multiple people are talking at once all the voices combine into white noise.
You may have noticed it a few times if you watch tv with the captions on. When you see the words [INDISTINCT CHATTER] pop up on the screen, it's a sign that unheard conversations are happening.
One of the goals of Indistinct Chatter Films is to zoom into the conversations that often go unheard.
Often it’s the loudest voice that gets heard, but that does not make it the most valuable. Let's zoom in together, ask better questions, and replace judgment with curiosity, and listen to some of the voices inside of indistinct chatter.

Hey, I’m producer Matt!
And I’m the mastermind behind Indistinct Chatter Films. My passion for storytelling stems from an insatiable curiosity about the world that surrounds us.
There are nearly 8 billion people in the world and I believe that every single person has a story to tell and through listening and sharing these stories we can restore hope and dignity where it is lacking.
However, we must set aside judgment and replace it with curiosity.
As a producer & director, it’s an honor to use storytelling to step into the sacred space of someone’s story and use storytelling to help others see the unique nature of their existence.
I invite you through this project to enter into this space together, to replace judgment with curiosity, and see the world become a better and more unified space, one story at a time.
